Morning Doodles

Every morning when I get to work I check emails and follow up on stuff related to my job, but lately I have had a bit of tinkering time to doodle. It's all random so sometimes it's cartoony and other times it tips the other way. I rarely use photo reference when I am doing doodles, and the only one below which is referenced is the guy with the gun which is from a still from the movie "Bone Tomahawk".

The new year looks like it is going to get really busy so I am enjoying the free time I have to draw ... stuff ... and be able to do some posts here. Enjoy.

Some random girls.
 A smattering of guys.
 A little bit of Christmas.
That's it until next time. Ciao!

MORE CATCHING UP

Directing a network series takes the piss out of you. All your free time is devoted to the show ... scripts, designs, animation, editing sound and mixes. You never have time to do personal drawings very often, so it has been nice that my show is winding down. The last episode for the show is in retakes and the final audio mix will be be in mid-January. With some of the free time I have been helping out a bit at work on development, I have had time to finish a first draft my "Grumble and WAA" script, and I have been able to just doodle ... a lot. It sure has been fun, so I am catching up on posting here and adding some more recent scribbles. Enjoy!

Halloween passed us by a few weeks back, and I had thoughts of pumpkins gone bad.
Playing with a new take on a very old idea.
One day I had to doodle cute animals. Guess I needed to get it out of my system.
I cracked open my old copy of "The Ingoldsby Legends" (Published in 1837) and wondered if there couldn't be a new take on something classically old.
 More girls and guys.
With my first draft script done for "Grumble and WAA" I started to see if I could figure out the orphanage which is part of the story. I am not great on doing locations so it has been a bit of a struggle to work out what it looks like. These roughs are getting closer to something I like.
As soon as Halloween was done, my coffee shop put up their Christmas decorations and got me thinking about the Yuletide season arriving in about 6-weeks.
That's it for now!
