Nearly 30 Years

I am at or near the 30-year mark of my career working in the animation business. I have seen great changes in the way animation has been produced over the years and know stress of the day-to-day grind of production. Sometimes it makes us, me, forget the reason for getting involved in this complicated, collaborative artform.

The reason that I'm a bit pensive about this is that some people which I have known for a lot of that time have decided to retire. Retirement seemed like an unimaginable thing when I started so many years ago. I guess some day I'll have to step away from it all and leave it to younger talent, but for know I'll just keep hanging on in the hope that I can keep doing this for a while longer.

I cleaned out a few drawings from my sketchbook for posting. Enjoy.

Mystery men.

I watched this little puppy cleaning his bits and I drew this afterwards.

 Guys and girls.

A bit more of an idea that is just about done for me. I have a couple more ideas for some drawings, but then this one will get filed away.

Great design sense. Easy on the eyes.
